Backup/Restore

Steps for backup

Select the type of disk to backup to.

3╜" Disk ( This will be of the type 1.2 or 1.44 MB )

LS - 120

Zip Disk Drive

The LS 120 is capable of holding 120 MB. The Zip Disk Drive is capable of holding 100-250 MB. If you're not sure of the capacity of the disk, you can check this in Explorer by right clicking the drive and selecting properties, you will then be displayed a dialog like the following. Here you can check the size of your disk.

Local hard drive or remote drive

This option allows you to back up to your hard drive or remote drive.

Choose from the following options to be backed up:

Registry Backup ( Checked by default )

Fonts list

Gradients list

Rings list

Icons list folder ( Not available for 1.2 or 1.44 MB disk )

Iconstamps folder ( Not available for 1.2 or 1.44 MB disk )

Case Projects folder ( Not available for 1.2 or 1.44 MB disk )

Palettes folder ( Not available for 1.2 or 1.44 MB disk )

Anicon folder ( Not available for 1.2 or 1.44 MB disk )

Note: The Export & Import folders are not available for backed up (This is by default).

Pictures folder ( Not available for 1.2 or 1.44 MB disk )

Templates folder ( Not available for 1.2 or 1.44 MB disk )

Click Make backup now you will be presented a dialog like the following, select the drive or path to a folder and click ok.

Next click yes to verify the path.

Note

If you have a backup already you will receive the following message.

A successful Backup.
